A mixture of traditional influences from the Baroque, Neo-Classical and Romanesque periods were the aspiration for these tile designs, while still remaining enchantingly current and unique.

Indulgent rooms that require imagination and creativity were the inspiration for this tile. The Roma Listello is an intricately carved tile of Roman clad woman walking hand in hand past ornately carved pillars in the background. Meticulous attention has been paid to every minute detail on this tile. A beautiful sculpture and a masterpiece to be admired for maximalist style!

Roma B Listello Tiles

Designed to compliment the Roma Listello Tile (shown above), this tile can be used to break the design and disperse the Roma Tile intermittently, if so chosen. Of course this decorative tile can be used as a statement all on its own. The same ornate columns have been carved for this tile and feature detailed roman pottery (that even have their own 'mini sculptures' on the vases). Each pot contains beautifully carved ivy leaves that twine around the columns complimenting the straight line features.

The ideal goal for a perfect finish when installing listello tiles is to get the join looking as seamless as possible, to create a free flowing look and feel to the design. Quality listello tiles will fit flush against each other requiring minimum grouting between the tile joins and should ideally not be aligned with the grouting lines of the tiles (as this can create unnecessarily large spaces between the listellos, breaking the flow of the tile design).

 
 

Additionally, if your selected listello tile design is not available in the required length of your chosen tiles, no problem ... Simply stagger the installation of the listello tile to create an even and uniform appearance. The same principle should be applied for mosaic tiles, as well as the latest tile designs, which are specifically designed not to be uniform in size or texture.

Of course, the completed tile installation is always a matter of personal preferance, decor style required and the accompanying field tile design to achieve the best possible look and feel for your specific tiling project.
